Orange Dressing

Orange dressings offer a refreshing, tangy-sweet flavor perfect for brightening salads, marinades, or as a zesty drizzle over roasted vegetables.

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • Zest of one orange
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or date syrup as an alternative)
  1. In a mixing bowl, pour 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice and add the zest of one orange for a vibrant, citrusy aroma. Stir in 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar to balance the sweetness with a hint of tang. Next, add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (or use date syrup for a richer, alternative sweetness).
  2. Mix thoroughly to combine all the ingredients. While no salt is necessary, feel free to add a pinch for enhanced flavor. For a subtle kick, you can also experiment with a dash of white pepper.
  3. Enjoy this delightful blend of flavors in salads or as a marinade!
