Red Beet Hummus

Homemade hummus is a fresh, healthy, and flavorful dip made with simple ingredients, perfect for snacks, spreads, and sharing.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Garbanzo beans, rinsed
  • 2 pods garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp Tahini (Sesame butter/paste)
  • 1/2 cooked red beet
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes ( optional)
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Serve with toasted pita or as a dressing or a sauce on salads.
