Healthy Banana Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups almond blanched flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 small ripe bananas or 2 big ones
  • 2 Tablespoons flaxseed meal
  • 2 Tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons cacao
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Add the rolled oats, almond flour, and dates to a food processor and blend until the mixture forms a fine flour-like texture.
  3. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Add the oat–almond mixture, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix everything together until a thick, well-combined batter forms.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into a lined or lightly greased loaf pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the loaf to cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
  10. Enjoy this wholesome treat with your kids and family!

Replace bananas with cranberry-orange zest, zucchini-choc chip or other fruity combos.
